The DuraMix 8000T Series Thermostatic Steam & Cold Water Hose Station by SuperKlean is one of the safest water mixers on the market, designed to mix steam and water to the desired temperature. Based off the popular 8000 model mixer station, this mixer has dual outputs to allow for greater flexibility in directing hot water in different sections for quick and effective sanitation. Improving upon the 8000 model, this edition has an additional safety measure added, a thermostatic temperature-limiting automatic shutoff feature. This mechanism triggers a shut-off if the temperature surpasses 185°F (85°C) to protect against accidental steam release.
The Temperature Limiting Steam and Cold water Mixing station has two valve options, ball valves and globe valves. The globe valve model allows for more precise control and can allow for gentler adjustments, ideal for applications where precision is needed. The ball valve model has less precision, but has a quarter turn operation that allows for faster control, this is especially useful for applications where a fast shut-off is needed. Both models are available in brass or stainless steel. The SuperKlean mixing stations come with a mounting plate for easy behind-the-unit cleanup, a hose rack for easy user access to the hose, and an optional temperature gauge.
