Description
The FPR 1741/1742 High-Efficiency Portable Pump Assembly is a specialty high capacity centrifugal pump assembly engineered to deliver reliable, clean, efficient, and smooth fluid handling in sanitary processing environments. The pump head, cart, and washdown motor are constructed of durable stainless steel and the VFD has a NEMA 4X enclosure, making this assembly capable of withstanding the tough environments found in sanitary processing facilities. This assembly features market leading technology; the LENZE VFD is programmable and able to be fully integrated in process systems. Featuring extended seal-life and easy maintenance, this pump assembly is designed to handle high capacities smoothly with minimal work, reduced downtime, and a low total cost of ownership.
The FPR 1741/1742 High-Efficiency Assembly provides specialty high capacity performance, making it suitable for product transfer and CIP in larger process loops and high-pressure applications. The FPR 1741/1742 is designed to handle higher flow capacity than its sister model, the FPR 741/742. The FPR 1741/1742 has the same front cover and impeller as the 741/742; however, the volute is 10 mm wider and deeper allowing this pump to handle much higher capacities. Both pumps have a 2.5" inlet, a 2" outlet, and an 8" impeller. The FPR 1741/1742 has a maximum capacity of 290 GPM, marking a significant increase from the 158 GPM maximum capacity of the FPR 741/742. It delivers smooth product transfer, easy in-place maintenance, and reliable performance, making it the perfect addition for larger processing facilities in the dairy, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, and biotech industries.
This high-end centrifugal pump assembly outperforms its competitors in hygienic design, efficiency, and reliability. What sets the FPR pump head apart from the competition is its exceptionally tight internal tolerances. The minimal clearance between the impeller and the backplate ensures high efficiency, minimal product slippage, and extended seal life. This precision allows the 1741/1742 to handle higher-viscosity products smoothly and efficiently. The defining innovation of the FPR series is its front-loading internal seal; this design provides superior cooling and cleaning when compared to external seals, while remaining easy to maintain and service in place. This makes maintenance easy and reduces total downtime.
The FPR 1741/1742 High-Efficiency Portable Pump Assembly is recommended for larger production facilities where high-capacity handling, maneuverability, efficiency, reliability, and top-of-the-line technology are desired.
