THE FPR 1741/1742 High Capacity Centrifugal Pump and Motor Assembly features a high efficiency stainless steel wash down motor, and a FPR 1741/1742 pump head. The FPR 1741/1742 has a front-loading internal seal and extremely tight internal clearances, giving it an extended seal life, and making it easy to maintain and highly efficient. This model is designed for specialty high-capacity applications where efficiency and gentle fluid handling are key.

Description

The FPR 1741/1742 pump and motor is a specialty high capacity centrifugal pump assembly, engineered to deliver reliable, clean, efficient, and smooth fluid handling in sanitary processing environments. Built of durable stainless steel, this assembly can withstand the tough environments found in sanitary processing facilities. Featuring extended seal life and easy maintenance, this pump is designed to handle high capacities smoothly with minimal work, reduced downtime, and a low total cost of ownership.

The FPR 1741/1742 provides specialty high capacity performance, making it suitable for product transfer and CIP in larger process loops and high-pressure applications. The FPR 1741/1742 is designed to handle higher flow capacity than its sister model the FPR 741/742. The FPR 1741/1742 has the same front cover and impeller as the 741/742; however, the volute is 10 mm wider and deeper allowing this pump to handle much higher capacities. Both pumps have a 2.5" inlet, a 2" outlet, and an 8" impeller. The FPR 1741/1742 has a maximum capacity of 290 GPM, marking a significant increase from the 158 GPM maximum capacity of the FPR 741/742. It delivers smooth product transfer, easy in-place maintenance, and reliable performance, making it the perfect addition for larger processing facilities in the dairy, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, and biotech industries.

These pumps are built in the United States and Canada and are renowned for their innovative and robust designs. FPR pump heads are the premiere choice in high-end sanitary pumps. Featuring top-of-the-line German engineering and American manufacturing, their quality is unbeatable.

As the newest member of the FP family of pumps, the FPR is no exception. This high-end centrifugal pump assembly outperforms its competitors in hygienic design, efficiency, and reliability. What sets the FP series apart is its exceptionally tight internal tolerances. The minimal clearance between the impeller and the backplate ensures high efficiency, minimal product slippage, and extended seal life. This precision allows the 1741/1742 to handle higher-viscosity products smoothly and efficiently. The defining innovation of the FPR series is its front-loading internal seal; this design provides superior cooling and cleaning when compared to external seals, while remaining easy to maintain and service in place. This makes maintenance easy and reduces total downtime.

The FPR 1741/1742  pump and motor assembly is recommended for larger production facilities where high-capacity handling, efficiency, reliability, and top-of-the-line technology are desired.

FPR 1741/1742 Assembly Features:

  • Superior Hygiene:  Fully CIP compatible and features an internal seal that removes dead spots and can be completely sanitized.
  • Simplified Maintenance: The front-loading seal is easy to access and reduces maintenance time.
  • Self-aligning shaft: Reduces vibration and extends seal life.
  • Robust Design: Constructed of stainless steel and equipped with a washdown motor this assembly is designed to withstand the rigorous cleaning and tough environments found in processing facilitates.
  • Low cost of total ownership: Easy maintenance, lower down-times, and extended seal-life allows for reduced costs over the lifetime of the pump.
